How telescreen is affecting our world is that, we are being watch. We are being watch by the telescreen because its wanted us to prevent thought crime which run by the party's. If the proles does any crime of thought, they will be immediately torture, like "2+2=5" in 1984 with the problem that happen to Winston. In 1984, not only telescreen was watching us, Big Brother was watching us also. Big Brother had the power to control us through the Party's. Everything we do, we believed in Big Brother and fear that consequences was heading to our way.
